Registering on multiple websites with the same email address

Instructions for registering on additional community websites.

Written by Meredith Owens

Our platform allows you to use the same email address to register on multiple websites. This is especially helpful if you belong to or manage more than one community using HOA Express. Since the same login credentials (email address and password) will be used across those websites, follow the steps below to register.

To begin, visit the community’s website and click the "register" link in the upper-right corner.

Your information

Start by providing some basic information about yourself, like your account type, name, email address, and cell phone number.

If you're not already logged into your user account, and the email address entered is linked to a profile on another website, you’ll be prompted to log in before completing the rest of the registration form.

After signing in to your user account, the name, email address, and cell phone fields will be grayed out on the registration form. There also won’t be a “Password” field since you’ll use the same one to log in as on the other website(s).

Additional household members

To add more members to your account, use the "Additional household members" section. Joint members with their own email addresses can log in and receive communications.

Members added without an email address cannot log in or receive communications, but they will appear in directory pages. To learn more about member types, click here.

Addresses

To represent all members of a community, different account types are available for members to register with. Each account type has its own address requirements. Some account types may require at least one address within the community, while others may require at least one address located anywhere, or no address at all.

Depending on the account type you are registering with, you will either be prompted to add an address, or this section won’t appear if it’s not required.

If the account type you're registering with requires an address, provide each address that should be associated with your account in the "Address(es)" section. Designate whether they are located inside or outside your community, and select your preferred mailing and billing addresses as needed.

Finishing up

After submitting your registration, your account will remain pending until a website administrator reviews and approves or declines your information. You’ll be notified of the decision by email.

If your website administrator has decided to automatically approve new members, your account will bypass this stage.
