What's Happening emails can be sent daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. These emails summarize notable new content and highlight upcoming events in your community.

The recommended frequency is determined by the website administrator, and whichever sending frequency they select will be set as the default for members.

Update the sending frequency (admins)

A website administrator with full privileges can update the sending frequency at any time by visiting the โ€œSettingsโ€ section in the Admin Portal. Here, click on the "What's Happening emails" category.

In the "Timing" tab, select your preferred sending frequency from the drop-down menu. If you select either weekly or biweekly, you can specify which day of the week you would like the email generated and sent. Additionally, you can determine how early or late you want these emails to be sent by adjusting the "Time of Day" setting. Once all changes have been made, click the "Save "button.

Updating the sending frequency (members)

If members do not want the recommended option set by the website administrator, they can set their own sending frequency preference.

To do this, first log in and click on your name in the upper-right-hand corner. From the drop-down menu, select "Member settings."

Here, click on the "Contact" tab, and under the section labeled "What's Happening email frequency," select your desired option. Once you've finished, click the โ€œSaveโ€ button.
