Instructions for sending an automatic summary email of online payments made recently.

The details for a payment option are always available to administrators with the "payments" privilege from the "Online payments" section in the Admin Portal. If you want to receive notification emails about new activity on an online payment option or have those sent to individuals without this administrative privilege, you can additionally use the online payment summary emails feature!

Administrators can add multiple emails to receive these summary emails and set the sending frequency to hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. Depending on your preference, you can also add the same email multiple times with different sending frequencies (e.g., one is daily and the other is monthly).

Set up

New online payment option

The last step in creating a new online payment option is to decide whether to send a summary email to particular email addresses.

  1. Under the "Send a summary of new payments to…" header, enter the email address you'd like to receive this notification.

  2. Next, select your desired sending frequency: hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.

  3. Continue to add other email addresses you'd like to be notified of activity for the payment option and their desired sending frequency.

  4. Once you've finished, click the "Create" button.


Existing online payment option

To update an existing online payment option, click on the magnifying glass icon under the "Details" column in the "Online payments" section. On the payment option details page, click the "Manage summary recipients" button.

Next, you can click the "Add recipient" button and enter the email address you'd like to receive the summary emails and their desired sending frequency. Click the "Add" button, and then repeat for any other individuals you'd like to receive this notification email.

You can then update a recipient's sending frequency by clicking on the pencil icon under the "Edit" column. If you need to remove a recipient, click the red trashcan icon under the "Remove" column.
