The Google Translate feature allows visitors to translate the website's text into another language automatically. This is especially useful for communities with diverse residents who speak multiple languages. The Google Translate tab will appear in the bottom-right-hand corner of the website for laptops and desktops.

Full website administrators have the ability to hide this tab and prevent visitors from translating the website. Instructions for how to do this are listed below.

How-to

  1. First, visit the “Miscellaneous” category in the “Settings” section of the Admin Portal.

  2. Here, under the “Hide items” tab, click the checkbox next to the “Hide the Google Translate tab” option.

  3. Lastly, click the “Save” button.
