Adopt an existing website into your reseller account

Instructions for adding an existing website on HOA Express to your reseller account.

If there is an existing website on our platform that you'd like to adopt to your reseller account, you can easily do so by visiting the Reseller Portal! To start, under the "Websites" section, click the “Adopt existing website” button.

On the next page, select which website you’d like to adopt from the dropdown menu, then press the “Adopt” button.

To adopt a website, you need to have a registered profile and have been granted the “billing” administrative privilege. If you don’t see the website you’d like to adopt in the dropdown, contact the website's administrator to remedy this. Once adopted, you won’t need to be a member of that website to continue managing it in the Reseller Portal.

If the website doesn't have an existing subscription, you will be immediately charged a prorated amount once it has been adopted. However, if there is an existing subscription in place, you won’t be charged until the next renewal date. Since your reseller account is billed on the first of the month, if the adopted website’s renewal date is not already on the first of the month, a prorated charge will be used to shift the renewal date to the next first of the month.
